I came home from work in time for a serious work out with the girls.  We walked to one of my favorite spots - Ravi's Soups - for dinner.

I invited my previous manager to have chai at our house.  She said she just wanted chai but obviously Indian people don't just serve chai.  We served everything from kachoris to veggie tikki kebabs to eggplant, black-eyed-beans and bhindi. THEN we served chai.  With fruit and ras malai.  :)

But I digress.

She came with this because she says she knows I love sweets:

Okay so I enjoy food and this is, like, my 18th post about food.  But really this is amazing.  Notice the icing job? Yup.  That's all me.  Cake bits and all! And see that bite in the top? I did it.

Anyone that knows me knows about my shoe obsession.  I have a bit of a problem.  Shoes are art for your feet!  They're all over the place in the different spaces of my life.  They're collectors items to me.  ❤

My sister and I got matching Converse shoes today!  Both are different than the typical/classic pair.  I kinda think they have a feminine touch to them. 

Rob would be proud.  :)

Easter weekend is always good for a solid turnout at Jummah.  We went to IIT for a great khutbah.  Ran into many friends.  Basically it's a third Eid. :)

Had lunch with my family and then met Jess (aka my wifey) for dinner (Joey) and a movie (The Grand Budapest Hotel) downtown.  Lovey food, lots of laughs, good times.  :)

Meanwhile at work, I was dominating.

I came home feeling triumphant to my mom and dad today.  My mom is fully enjoying teasing me this evening:  "Shano, Engineer, fix-it-now! Fix-it-now!"

My mom is so weird, and I love her to death! Only she makes me laugh the way she does. ❤  God protect her and love her always.

Sunny  morning, great breakfast with my family, swimming (30 laps in <30 minutes 😎), shopping and bubble tea with my sister at Yorkdale, dinner with my whole family at Xola in the beaches, ice cream at a little place in the neighborhood, and finally a movie with my beloveds among blankets and pillows.  I am blessed.  ❤❤❤

New hijab..... Well , it's actually 3 months old.  I bought it with my mummi ❤ in December at RIS.  I just wore it today for the first time!  Yay!
