Where do I start???

My tea bag told me this today, and it is my focus:

Then I went out with Santosm.  ❤

Let me count the ways that I dooooo love Santosm.....

Dinner at Ravi Soups and long overdue catch-up session.  

Walked around our beautiful city of Toronto.

Spent time at the soon-to-be-shutdown Chapters and looked at silly books, sipped coffee and lattes while enjoying *free* pieces of lemon poppyseed loaf:

And THEN!

.....and this is how I know he's meant to be my friend:  HE FOUND ME A DESIGNER SHOE SALE!!!

Like..... I'm speechless.  At random! A designer shoe sale in the middle of Toronto after normal shops have closed! It's too amazing.  I wish you were there to see this.

Santosm says I'm an efficient shoe shopper.  I found two great pairs pretty quickly.  Tried them on, showed them off, and got myself a discount!

And then! We found him a suit store! A pop-up shop, it appeared, for beautiful men's suits.  This is serendipitous, you see, because we were talking about his lack of a suit for his wedding in October!  

It's been one of those evenings that reaffirms my faith - in life, in God, in my family/friends, and in myself.  I am one happy girl to have these certain people in my life.  I think we are meant to be together.  That's why my expectations of people can be so high at times - because I have thankfully been blessed with the best!  I hope I'm my best to you, too. ❤

I wish you all out there the best kind of friends. Maybe you'll find a Santosm of your own one day!  :)

Loving the single life. ❤ :)

It's great to be free, take my time, change my plans last minute, eat what I want and when I want with whomever I want, shop too much, sleep early or sleep late...... Etc etc etc... The list goes on and on and on. :)

I am thankful for a full life in this stage of the story of shanooo. :)

I had two naps this weekend.  Heaven!

We also sat together today in the living room and chatted about a number of things.  I loved looking around at the room and appreciating how lovely it is.  We painted it in two hues of yellow, and outfitted the room with gold and deep red accents.  It's so soulful especially with all the sun streaming in, I enjoyed that time and realize now I could've enjoyed it even more fully.  

Also talked with my friend's mom today.  Moms love me. :)

How does one fulfill their purpose in life (might be humanitarian in nature) through their current career and future anticipated leadership roles?

And now I'm watching Oprah's Super Soul Sundays which my sister taped for me.  It's about happiness.  ❤

I am thankful for all these synchronicities in my life.  Especially after noticing the absence of them in my life for a long while.  This stage in my life is absolutely a blessing.  ❤❤❤

I MET JOE MIMRAN!!!!

This was at the Joe Fresh on Queen.  Apparently he just visits his stores periodically.  Kinda cool for me to meet a designer!!!  Super nice man. :)

Also, ate at Lee's after a long time and really really enjoyed the Slaw there.  The bartender even made me a special virgin cocktail after I have her the green light to experiment!  Something with chai syrup and ginger and some other yummy stuff.

I thought to myself, as I left my car to head up, that I must look like a crazy bag lady with all this hanging off me:

But turns out all that baggage was a conversation starter with a tall, slim, handsome man with a gorgeous British accent. *drool* I love being single in the city!  Nothing like a hot guy at the elevator! Yeah!!!!!

100 happy days - Day 46

I went to her with the intention of giving of myself and my time.  She just had some surgery and its good to visit your friends who are sick or recovering.  :) I was reminded recently that it's important to spend your time with people who elevate you. She is one of those people.  It's also important to give back to those that share their positive energy with you.  Give and take, it's just what we must do to keep the balance.

But in the end, if we were competing for who is more of a giver, she definitely won tonight.  I don't know if I'll ever be able to repay all her kindnesses.  ❤

She fed me dinner (homemade and so yummy!) and for dessert I had some pomegranate which her husband prepared for her.  ❤ She also informed me that her Aunty-network has been activated and she'll find me a match soon. Ha!  :)

I am blessed with the absolute *best* of friends.  I hope she has a speedy recovery!  Please send her your good energy! :)

100 happy days - Day 35

I love having my toes painted.  Obviously the best ways to bring in spring!  But after having my toes painted for over a month, it was time to clean them up and let them breathe.  I got the lady at the pedicure place to do it because I felt like being pampered.  :)

Today I'm thankful for my clean toes, a great yoga workout for the first time in months, and some real peace and quiet. :)

Today at work, I engaged some friends in setting up dinner, but in OPG-speak.  I totally got a kick out of it.  Talking about hit team meetings, CNO approvals, deferral requests, verification and approval, CAPs, rapid responses..... It just went on and on and on.  I loved it.
