100 happy days - Day 67

The one thing I'm pretty happy about today is all the walking I did before and after dinner.  About 4km yesterday and today.  I loved all the trees and flowers on my walks.  I haven't seen greens and purples and pinks like those in a while.  Stunning! My pictures don't capture it!

My sister always cracks me up.  That's a goofy pic of my face after I applied some (okay a lot of) zit cream.  

I have to say that, when it comes to men, European men are pretty awesome.  I am a woman who has met many different kinds of people, each brings out a different side of me.  I often have to step into my male energy in certain instances (work is one example).  So stepping back into my authentic feminine energy is important to do.  Being with manly men helps me do that. ;)  It's the little things European men do!  Opening doors (all the doors, every door, without fail!), walking on the "outside" of a sidewalk (closest to the road), paying for things they don't need to..... 

I definitely do not need any of these things.  I'm fully capable of opening doors, I'm perfectly safe on the sidewalk on my own, and I am a single girl who can pay all her own bills.  

BUT!  I love when they insist on doing these things anyway!  Makes me feel like a girl.  :)

Chivalry is part of the dynamic that makes men that much more masculine and women that much more feminine. Hope more men get that and practice it out of love for the women in their lives. :)

Today, I awarded my team the Engineering Excellence Cup.  I got almost all of the group in one photo.....!  We killed the outage!  This group of people was the inspiration for this form of recognition which I created and have enabled.  I'm so proud!  If I was on twitter, I'd tweet #winning!  EFIN rocks!

Phenomenal Woman
