It took me a minute but I finally got her the cake and flowers that I knew she would love.
The thing is, no one is perfect. There are some things I guess I could complain about. But I choose to love my people for the good in them. My mom taught me discipline, hard work, focus, commitment, and hardest of all, long division! One explanation from my mom at age 9, and I am a long division expert for life! How many moms can say that??? If I've been successful at anything in my life, it's due in large part to the things/traits I've learned from my mom. I share many qualities with my mom, good and bad, and I'm fully aware of that. I love her/myself even still. We are each other's reflection. My mom is one of my heroes in her own very special way. I love her with my whole heart.
